Canal Little League — Complex Rentals

We prioritize league activities but offer limited rentals to local teams, schools, and community groups when scheduling and field conditions allow.

Available Rental Options

Baseball/softball field use for practices or games
Batting cage access (when available)
Pavilion or common-area use for small gatherings
Team practices, scrimmages, and tournaments

All rental approvals are handled case-by-case. League activities and field maintenance have scheduling priority.

Who Can Request

We welcome requests from local youth sports teams, school programs, community organizations, adult recreational teams, and families or groups hosting small events. We do not operate as a full-scale rental facility; requests are intended to support local community needs.

Requirements & Guidelines

Proof of insurance: Outside organizations must provide a certificate of insurance naming Canal Little League as an additional insured.

Field & safety rules: Renters must follow field closures and safety guidelines, use facilities responsibly, and clean up after use. No alcohol, tobacco, or vaping products are permitted.

Supervision: Groups are responsible for adequate supervision and participant conduct.

Scheduling & Priority

Availability varies by season and field conditions. Priority is given in the following order:

Canal Little League programs
Field maintenance needs
Approved community rentals

Requests are considered based on current schedules and field health; flexibility is appreciated.

Rental Fees

Fees vary by field/area, duration, lights, and any required field prep. Fees help offset field materials, equipment upkeep, utilities, and facility maintenance. You will receive specific fee information as part of your rental form review.
