Canal Little League invites you to join the 2023 Fall Ball Program

The Fall program is designed to prepare players to move up to the next level of play.
All Participants to use child's 2024 Spring league age.  

If your child played Minor A Baseball or Minor A Softball this spring then your child should play in the Majors Fall program to become accustomed to the increased speed of play and 100% kid pitch.

Additionally, if your child played T-ball, Minors or Majors for the first time this spring, the Fall Season provides a chance to become more comfortable with the skills necessary to be successful at the same level next Spring.

General information:
-     All players are welcome, with no boundary restrictions
-     Cost: $75.00 per player, includes cap and tee-shirt
-     Space is limited to 14 players per team

Parents can request specific coaches.  
Parents can also request to have their child placed on a team with their "Buddies”.
We do our best to accommodate as many requests as possible ... while maintaining a balance of skills on each team.     All requests must be made during registration.

·     Work Bonds are NOT required, however all parents are expected to help managers/coaches with field prep and garbage clean-up.

Schedule:
·     Teams typically play one game during the week and one on Saturdays,
·     Practice is at the coaches discretion
·     Season will begin the week of September 7th (approximately)
·     Games will begin September 14th (approximately)
·     10 to12 games will be scheduled; rain-outs are typically not rescheduled.
·     The Junior/Senior schedule is provided by District 2, games will be played through the district in these divisions.
·     The season will run until October 28th (approximately), some will finish earlier

Volunteers: (Managers and Coaches Needed)
·     To run a successful Fall Ball program, managers and coaches are needed to teach the fundamentals skills and rules of baseball/softball.
·     Each team will need a manager to coordinate the team’s practices, game line-ups and team communications to parents.
      The manager should have coaches to help with these tasks and oversee the team when the manager is not available

Registration:
·     Roster spots are not guaranteed after September 1st.
·     ALL Registration is done online via the Canal Website.

 Divisions:
·     All player ages based on the 2024 season
·     Any requests to play up or down must be made during registration and will need to be approved by the league officers of CLL.
